Dada Life in La La Land
For the last seven years I've been having the honor to shoot the official band images for my friends in Dada Life. Each year, as they become more and more famous our shoots becomes more and more elaborate. This year it took place inside a huge wearhouse in downtown LA. It's a highly collaborative effort between Stefan, Olle (who makes up Dada Life) and myself, with ideas being exchanged for several months before we get on set. Anyway, here are some portraits from our latest shoot, more images to come soon.

Re-launch of The Portraitists
In 2009 I began photographing other photographers in my Brooklyn studio. The concept was simple, I took a portrait of each photographer using a repeating strict formula: same light, same white backdrop, same aperture etc. Each photographer was free to depict me in any fashion he or she wished, using any type of medium, any time of the day, any environment, fully dressed, completely naked etc.
The project became part performance, part photo shoot, part community work. The project website has now been updated and within the next couple of months I wish to photograph another 38 photographers from every niche in the photography world including fashion, wedding, landscape, portrait studio, fine art, you name it.
Are you one of them?
