GANT Portraits

During the last year, I had the opportunity to work with the creative team at fashion retailer Gant to visualize their new concept "never stop learning". This has been a great opportunity to meet and photograph some of the most inspiring artists, entrepreneurs and scientists out there.
Here's are some of my favorite outtakes from the project:

New studio work

For the last couple of years I've mostly been shooting portraits on location -which has been great fun. Earlier this year when the New York sky was grey and uninspiring I decided it was time to get back in to the studio and shoot some new portrait work, where I, for once was in control of both light and the environment.
I wanted to capture portraits that felt "unstaged" (which is always a challenge when shooting in studio) and also allow the viewer to create their own narratives.  More images from this series will be available through Gallery Stock

curious moments 2015

2015 is coming to an end so I decided to collect 12 moments from 2015 that caught my eye because they were weird, fun, strange or just beautiful (or all of those).
The prints are available through this webshop, you can also click on an image and it will take you directly to the shop. All images are printed in 24x36" (60x90 cm) on semi-gloss archival paper and available in open edition to help keep the prices down a bit. For any questions just shoot me an email

Panamá City for enRoute Magazine

Over the next couple of weeks I plan to post a couple of spread sheets from shoots I've done over the last couple of months. First out is a story about the transformation of Panamá City that I shot for enRoute. I've also included a couple of my favorites images which didn't make the final edit. The full story can be found here.
