Retina ready

After buying a new computer with a Retina screen I quickly realized how terrible all the images on my site looked, so I after two marathon session I've replaced all of the images on the website (almost). Needless to say, it's probably one of the most boring things one can possibly do but for any visitor with sensitive eyes, it's well worth it. I also uploaded a bunch of new work. Here are a few of my favorites:

In the Portrait section I added these two athletes attending the hyper compatative Japan Keirin School located high up in the mountains on the Izu Peninsula, 2h south of Tokyo. These guys take dedication to a whole new level.

In the Architecture/Hospitality section I added images from The Amangiri Resort located in the South Eastern part of Utah. I had one of the most divine experiences here in a long time during the summer heat last year.

There's also some new work in the Industrial section from a job I shot at the Bombardier assembly plant outside Toronto for Porter Airlines/Winkreative a while ago.

And finally some new food in the travel section. The left plate is shot at the Scandinavian restaurant Aquavit in Midtown, NYC. The right one is shot at another Scandinavian institution, The Maidstone in East Hampton, NY.  (And yes, I had to eat both dishes, and yes the food was fantastic!)
