Star Architect Peter Marino

It's not very often you get to photograph someone dressed in leather from head to toe who goes by the name of "The Pedro". Especially not on the 36th floor of a corporate building in Midtown Manhattan during daytime. However when you do, it's comforting to know that the subject, Architect Peter Marino is a genuinely nice guy to work with. If you ever visited a high-end retailer such as Dior, Prada or Gucci chances are very high that Peter designed that store.

Updated Stories section

I've finally come around to update the Stories section here in the site with some new (and old) work shot in Japan, Utah, Toronto and Brooklyn. This is the section where I gather the narrative-based work I've been shooting for editorial and commercial clients.  After all, why not collect it all in one place?

Architecture shoot in the Navajo Nation

Earlier this year I spent a week shooting two assignments in Southeastern Utah, one of them was a story about Design Build Bluff for D2 magazine. The writer and myself had the opportunity to meet with some very inspiring people, among them Poet Lorraine Nakais. Though a bit reluctant to be interviewed for a story, she soon opened up and we spent a couple of hours with her, guiding us through her house and talking about life at the Navajo Nation.

I'll post the second story in a not too distant future.

PDF Update

I've updated the PDF section with some new work so if you need a downloadable overview of my work, this is the place.
